WILL THE TEACHERS BE LESS CREATIVE
As teachers are using computers in their classrooms, are they becoming more creative or more dependent. One of the main job of the teacher is to create an image of the topic by activities, interactions or grup works but if there is a computer, students do not need any of those. When we think it that way, does it really help teachers to teach or students to learn?

You asked great questions. Do you think that computers can be used better than they are today in the classroom? Maybe teachers need more professional development in this area or maybe we just need less technology in the the classroom. What do you think?
I agree that students and teachers must not become too dependent on computers, but I do believe they serve as great resources in the classroom. When I observed at Valley Central Middle School the other day students were using the computers to research information on the civil war, but the teacher would not let them print, forcing them to write down and comprehend the information they found.
I believe that computers are inevitable in today's world, but I claim that computers should be used in context with the subject area. What I mean, is that teachers need to decide what is beneficial for their students to expand their knowledge and world view. Yes computers can offer lots of information, but not eveything is legitimate or beneficial.
I wonder if we did anything in class or if you read anything on Blackboard or in the articles we discussed that helps to answer some of your questions.
I think that computers are indispensable in the classroom, but they shouldn't be used in every minute while the course going on.A teacher can take advantage of while explaining something. If she/he isn't stating something she/he can show this thing from the cmputer or Internet
